Patricia Holloway
Tribute
Patti Holloway, born Patricia Dianne Webster to Bill and Willene Webster on February 24, 1944, died June 5, 2024, surrounded by family in her home in Lubbock, Texas, at the age of 80. Patti graduated from Monterey High School in 1962, then attended Texas Tech as an English major, with a minor in Art and Engineering. Patti owned multiple businesses. She was an interior designer as well as a contractor, but she was also a talented artist and creator. She had extensive knowledge and skill in many crafts including writing, drawing, graphic design, sewing, and knitting. She has an entrepreneurial spirit so deep that she once bought six commercial knitting machines, hired a few employees, and sold sweaters to Neiman Marcus. Patti was known to be able to make something beautiful from anything! Friends and family counted on her to be a source of knowledge on endless subjects and will miss her quick wit and clever sense of humor. Patti was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Johnny Holloway, baby sister Judi, and brother, Jim Webster. Patti is survived by her three children Amy Griffith and family, Kelly Holloway, and Chelsea Holloway, bonus daughter Carla Howard and family, granddaughter, Sydney Doss and family, great-granddaughter, Lennox Doss, brother Cris Webster and family, stepsister Marianna Clark and family, as well as many treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The world is much less vibrant without her. Friends and family will gather for a private life celebration in September.
