Peggy June Flowers Nail, age 92, of Wichita Falls, TX, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, June 13, 2026, just two days shy of her 93rd birthday. She was born on June 15, 1933, in Wichita Falls, Texas, where she was raised and attended public schools, beginning a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion. Peggy loved Jesus with all her heart and continually sought to honor her Lord and Savior in all she did. Her life was a testament to her unwavering Christian faith—always placing God first and striving to live according to His Word. As a young woman, she fell in love with “the boy next door,” Harry Lee Nail, and married him at the age of 19. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and family. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her three daughters and sons-in-law; George and Rebecca June Nail Gates of Plattsburgh, New York; Mark and Elisa Leigh Nail Demary of Merritt Island, Florida; and Bobby and Chareece Nail Teague of Rockport, Texas. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to five grandchildren: April Majewski of Satellite Beach, Florida; Gretchen Demary Russick of Cocoa, Florida; Mackenzi Demary Hill of Yorktown, Virginia; Victoria Marie Teague of Plano, Texas; and Courtland Paul Teague of Fort Worth, Texas. She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy. Peggy devoted her life to loving God, her husband, her family, and her friends with a servant’s heart, always ready to offer a helping hand to those in need. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Harry Lee Nail, and her twin granddaughters, Kalie Victoria and Kelsey Brooke. She is survived by her three daughters, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. True to the meaning of her name, Peggy—meaning “pearl”—she shone with the love of God radiating from her heart. Now she rests in the promise of the Pearly Gates, where her kindness, grace, and gentle spirit continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love, and she will be deeply missed until the day we are reunited with her in His holy presence. A private family celebration of life will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you send a card or written note sharing a special memory or remembrance of Peggy. These may be sent to her daughter, Chareece Nail Teague, at 1919 Hwy 35 North PMB 504, Rockport, TX 78382.
