My name is Wendy, my mother Renate Read's wishes were... if she could help others in any way possible after her passing, that's what was important to her. My mom was a very strong woman!! Born in Hanau, Germany, in 1935 and growing up as a young girl during WWII, she had many stories to tell. My father was in the Army stationed in Germany when he met my mother and fell in love. The rest was history. My parents were married 65 years until my father's passing in the summer of 2022. My Mom was multi-talented and bilingual, and I could have never asked for a better mother. She was not only my mom, but my best friend!! And I was blessed to live with her for the last 4 years!! As I lost my Husband to Prostate Cancer in 2021, the year before my father passed. So Mom and I always said we took care of each other🥰 If there is anyone worthy of being an Angel, that was my mom, Renate Read!!!! Mom, I miss seeing your smiling face daily!!! Rest in Peace! I'll always love you more!!!😘
