My dad was a great guy with a big heart, a great smile, and a funny personality that could make people laugh. He loved his cats, watching movies, going to concerts, and spending time with the people he loved. He also liked dressing nicely and always had his own style. Most of all, he loved his kids and his family. He was a dad, a grandpa, and a friend who will be deeply missed. He leaves behind his daughters, April and Heather, his 12 grandchildren, and his ex-wife, Lisa, along with many family members and friends who loved him. About a year ago, our lives changed when we found out that Dad had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. It was a terrible and heartbreaking disease, and we watched him become more ill as time went on. Even though losing him has been incredibly hard, we wanted something good to come from his passing. We chose to donate his body to science so that he can help researchers learn more about pancreatic cancer and hopefully help others who may face this terrible disease in the future. Dad may no longer be here with us, but his smile, his laugh, his humor, and all the memories we shared will stay with us forever. We love you, Dad. You will always be missed, always be remembered, and forever be a part of our family.
