The world lost a light on September 19th, 2026, when Ricky Elias passed away. A loving husband, father, brother, and friend, Ricky lit up everyone he encountered with his authenticity, positivity, and strong sense of humor. Ricky was well known and loved as the community go-to for loan and mortgage needs. As a father, Ricky doted on his only daughter, Brenna, and taught her how to love, do right by others, and always pay back one’s debts. Ricky was widowed from his wife, Cynthia Sue Elias, maiden name Cearley, in July of 2022. He was preceded in death by his father Manuel F. Elias Jr. and mother Elma Alice Elias, maiden name Landers, and is survived by his siblings: Manuel Elias Jr., Elma Pickett, and half-brothers and sisters Bill McDaniels, Terry Usman, Penny Sweet, Vern McDaniels, Mark McDaniels. Rest in peace, Ricky; you will be missed.
