Ricky Lee Taylor Jr., Age 42, affectionately known as “Junior,” was born on October 3, 1982, at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital in Oceanside, California, to Linda C. Gomez and Ricky Lee Taylor Sr. He passed away on May 26, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He spent most of his childhood in Pueblo, Colorado, and during his formative years, he and his brother Bryan were raised by Stan and Cora Krol. Ricky, a talented athlete, graduated from Pueblo County High School in 2002. He spent his adult years in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a lifelong fan of the San Francisco 49ers. He was an avid sports card collector, always on the hunt for that next rare rookie card. Ricky was a fierce guardian of his brother Bryan and had a steadfast love for all of his siblings. Ricky had a remarkable gift for striking up a conversation with anyone, and he could turn strangers into friends with ease.

He is survived by his three children, Olivia, Leshea, and Dunte, his mother Linda, dad Louis, father Ricky Sr. stepdad Rick and parents Cora and Stan along with their children Tammy, Marian, and JR. He is also survived by his siblings Bryan, Kelli, Amber, Daniel, David, Andrew, Kyle, and Kristina, his aunts Donna (Mark), Connie, Katherine (Gordon), and uncles Mario (Rebecca), Terry (Gaylene), along with numerous cousins and close friends. Ricky is preceded in death by his Oma Renate, grandmother Annie Grace, grandfathers Apolonio and Arlington, his sister Bianca, special cousin Lawrence, cousin Jon-Tah, and aunts Mary Ann and Loretta.
