Tribute

Rita and David Crowley met as teenagers at Lorraine Pool in 1978. Twenty years later, they met again at Arc Lanes Karaoke and have been together ever since. They were married on May 16, 2002. "Tombstone" was one of Rita's favorite movies, and that led them to settle in Benson, AZ. Rita was diagnosed on March 5, 2025, with an aggressive cancer. Rita wanted to fight this battle. David was in awe of her strength and spirit throughout the entire battle. Rita lost her battle with cancer on May 31, 2025. After fighting 88 days, she went to her eternal home with her Lord and Savior, joining her father, mother, 3 brothers, and a grandson. David says, "She was an amazing woman and I love and miss her so much. Rita loved her family and cherished her 9 grandchildren, as well as Sydney and Hayden from AZ. Rita was an avid sports fan. Her favorites were IU basketball, the Cleveland Browns, and the Atlanta Braves. Rita decided many years ago that her body would be donated to science in hopes of enhancing the lives of others."
