Tribute

Robert “Bob” Bannon was born on December 1, 1941 and died peacefully on January 22, 2026. Over the years, Bob worked as an electrician, security guard, car salesman, tractor trailer truck driver, and machine repairman. His love of music, especially the oldies, brought him to many venues as a DJ. Among his favorite things were watching TV, watching movies, westerns, John Wayne, going for drives, and his cat, Coco. He lived his life by his own rules, and recently said, “I’ve lived a good life, I’ve done everything I wanted”.

Friends & Family

Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Karen. Bob leaves three daughters, Lisa Pease and Tracie Bannon, both of Massachusetts, and Stacie Heath of Connecticut; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his good friends, Larry and Terry of Spring Hill, FL. He was the younger brother of Edmund, of New York State, and was the twin brother to Billy, who passed away in 2015. Bob was predeceased by his grandmother, Violet Bannon. A special thank you to the staff and nurses of Suncoast Hospice North Pinellas Care Center in Palm Harbor, Florida, for their kindness and care during his last days.
