R. Michael Engle, 85, of Oro Valley, Arizona, died April 23, 2026. A life well lived and loved. He was born in Greencastle, Indiana, and graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute and enlisted in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and brother-in-law. His primary interest was in magic from an early age. Other interests were woodworking, the American Civil War, and genealogy. He once wrote, “ I have no special talents: I’m just a foot soldier that tries to help make the wheels turn and things work for all to enjoy”. He will be forever missed.
