Tribute

Robert (Bob) Wright was loved and cherished by his children and their spouses, his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was cherished by his siblings and also admired by numerous friends and colleagues. Bob honorably and proudly served in the United States Navy as a member of the Seabees. During his service, he encountered numerous noteworthy experiences. He traveled widely and gained valuable life skills. He was especially proud of his crossing the Antarctic Circle aboard the USS Wyandot aka 92. He loved to share his service stories with his children. From the extreme cold of the Antarctic to the heat of the jungles, the adventures were many. Bob was an active man. Bob loved to travel. Road trips were one of his favorites. He would get in the car and go. Whether it was for work, a casino, or a golf outing, he went. He loved golfing. He was exceptionally good at it, too. He golfed until his body just would not let him go anymore. He loved to go to the casinos. He was an avid bowler in his younger years, too. If he was not doing any of those activities, he was reading. He was just not a person to sit idle. He enjoyed breakfast with family every Sunday morning, shopping for clothes, and eating out. Bob was so generous and caring. He helped anyone in need and would give you the shirt off his back. He is already greatly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. He was an amazing person who loved greatly and loved God.
