"Blockman" will forever be remembered for his association with Yavapai Block and Bennett Oil, in Prescott, AZ., and the trucks he drove for seventeen years. Ron made it a point to deliver material to contractors and ranches, on time, every time. His passion for poetry & music filled his truck and the world with love, garnering many awards & acknowledgements. He was extremely proud of his country music contract for his song, "Fantasies Are Free." Ron was a proud Air Force Veteran. A graduate of Mingus High, Jerome, AZ., Ron lived in Prescott and finally settled in Payson, AZ. Ron is survived by his long time love, Linda D. Hardin-Harkins. A memorial was held in his honor on June 4, 2022. "The loss is unbearable. It wasn't supposed to be this way. "
