Ruth Ann Myles was born April 8, 1929, and grew to be an amazing mother. Her family was blessed to have her for a long 96 ½ years. She had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off her back if she knew you needed it. Her early years, she had a hard life, Over the course of 15 years having 14 children, 7 of which passed mere hours or days but was able to lovingly care for the remaining 7. Four join her in rest, so she can care for them again. After losing her first son, it left her in a nervous state, and she had started to lose all of her hair. He was only 21 years old at the time of his passing. She didn’t let the grief stop her from caring for the rest of her children, helping in any and every way she knew how. Blessing this family with an amazing God-given woman. She was a strong and caring woman to her family and strangers. Even once giving a lady in the freezing cold the gloves off her hands because she needed them more. She never let anything dampen her happiness, living through 15 years of physical and mental abuse from the father of her children. She went on to marry a different man when her children were old enough and out on their own. Her and her husband’s favorite thing to say to each other was “he really loves her, and she really loves him”. He passed May 20th, 2016 and she went to join him and the lord once again on September 16, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of 3 remaining children and numerous grandchildren, and even more great grandchildren who were starting to have children of their own.
