Sandra Jacqueline "Sarah" Cody | May 29, 1950 - December 2, 2025 | Sandra Jacqueline Cody, nee Reeder, known to most simply as Sarah, passed away peacefully at home in San Jose, California, on December 2, 2025. She was born in San Francisco on May 29, 1950, and spent her life rooted in the Bay Area she knew and loved. Sarah is survived by her husband, Richard Todd Cody, her daughters AnaLee Mae Haertling and Molly Chin, and a circle of extended family and friends who held her close. She studied at UC Berkeley, where her boundless curiosity and love of learning blossomed. She later built a long, steady career with MSAS Cargo International, starting as an accountant and ultimately becoming a project manager, bringing both order and heart to every team she touched. Sarah found joy in the little things: books that transported her, music that filled a room and lifted your soul, and movies she loved to revisit. She delighted in sharing all her interests and passions with her family, never missing a chance to introduce a favorite song or recommend a great read. At the core of everything she did was a deep, unwavering love for her family. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered; with gratitude, with tenderness, and with all the pieces of her she passed on through her stories, her comfort, and her quiet, steady presence.
