Sandra Winn

Sandra "Sandy" (Qualls) Winn passed away surrounded by family after a battle with melanoma. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and grew up in South Phoenix. She married Dudley Qualls, Jr., in 1965. They had two children, son Derrek and daughter Shannon, and later adopted a daughter, Dana. They had a wonderful 41-year marriage until Dudley passed in 2006. She married Lonnie Winn, and they had 13 years together until Lonnie passed in 2019. She was a strong, fierce, independent woman. She was the oldest of four kids and was very protective and in charge. She was an artist, loved unique things, collecting antiques, dolls, and knick-knacks. She loved all animals, especially her dogs. She was a night owl; you could always find her outside at night watering the yards and smoking cigarettes. She was not a morning person; to her, noon was too early. Whenever she went out, she always had her red hair done, makeup and jewelry on, and she always wore bright colors. She was a fashionable lady. She had 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was so loved and will be greatly missed.
