Tribute

Everyone's beloved Shanna! She touched so many lives. Shanna did not know a stranger. She was the true definition of a Matriarch, a powerful force who looked after and took care of her Family. Shanna had no friends, to her everyone was family and if you were in her life you were sure to be looked after and taken care of. She organized many gatherings with her gals, her neighbors, and her girls. Making sure everyone stayed in touch. Even the family in Germany left nobody out. Shanna was the type of person who made sure you were ok. Take care of yourself if you are sick. Was there to help get you through the toughest situations. She enjoyed it. Enjoyed being in charge of things. Wasn't afraid to speak up when no one else would. She wanted nothing in return and would not let you take care of her. She didn't want to be a burden to anyone. She left her body to Science Care because she wanted to continue to help others even after death. This is a true testament to the type of person she was. Shanna was an amazing woman. She left so many good memories behind. So many good people in her life behind. We are all going to miss her dearly. We will hold on to the good times we had with her! For all the good that she has done will live on through each one of us. She was everyone's Sunshine! So as I end this tribute to our beloved Shanna I'd like to share this poem that reminds me of what she would say...A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me." Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up you chin. Until the day comes we're together again.
