Tribute

Steve was born in Texas in 1967. At a young age, he found a love for metalwork, which led to a 30+ year career in pipeline welding. He worked all over the lower 48, Alaska, and Africa. In his free time he enjoyed making knives, watching and attending hockey games (Dallas Stars & VGK were his teams), deep-sea fishing, and BBQing (he made the best brisket). He also loved spending time with his cats, Spicy and Spock, who traveled the country with him and his wife, Lara. Lara passed away in September of 2021 to cancer, and in July of 2022, Steve was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which ended his earthside journey on December 11, 2022. Steve is survived by his child, Paula, and son-in-law, John. He had countless friends all over the world, who he considered his family. Steve had the biggest heart and would do anything for those he loved. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lara, his Dad, Charlie, and his Mom, Paula. We'll love you forever Dad! The road goes on forever and the party never ends.
