Steven Carter

Tribute

Steven was born on June 7, 1961. In Jacksonville, Florida, he grew up fishing and hunting, and loved to cook and Bar-B-Q. He worked at the Sheet Metals Union 435 for 8 years, and at Jax Port for 30. I'm Evelyn, his partner for 14 of those years. He had 2 children, Steven Jr, and Tara, and a stepfather to my girls, April, Misty, Lynn, and Jessica. Grandchildren: Ariel, William, Carolyn, Stephanie, Skyla, Travis, Grayson, Kyla, Brianna, Madison, Clyde. Great-grandchildren: Cara, twins, Steven and Bryce, Cameron, Isabella, Kaiser, Kinsley, Ivan, Khristian. He was loved. My girls always say he should have gone on that TV show "Pit Master", he would have won.... no one wanted to go to Bar-B-Q place because they said his was better....the Man loved to cook....he was a man of few words with a big heart, gone too soon. He is loved and missed.
