Tribute

I met Thea when she volunteered to proofread the Palm Springs III Bulletin. It was our community newspaper from 2014 through 2017. She had an eagle eye for catching all our spelling and punctuation mistakes! She was a very conscientious person, and the paper was all the better for it. My sister, Dianne, and I, had many enjoyable lunches with Thea over the years, and we miss her. Her love for her constant companion, Callie, her cat, was well known throughout our condo. The photo I submitted was taken at an assisted living tour. A resident serenaded her as soon as she walked in. He made up a welcome song using her name. She loved it!
