Tribute

My mother married Eugene Crandall in 1956 in Bad Wimphen, Germany. She was born in Wandorf, Hungary while Adolf Hitler and the Natzi party controlled the country. Her family was kicked out of her hometown at the age of 9 after living through very devastating times and she and her family ended up in Germany. She moved to the USA in 1958 and has lived in Grand Junction, Michigan where she and her spouse ran a sawmill and raised her family. She was preceded in death by her mother Theresia (Brunner) Wetzer, her father, Andreas Wetzer, and one granddaughter Megan Rene Mayer. Surviving is her brother Andreas Wetzer, her spouse Eugene of 67 years, and her children, Arbie (Sherrie), Andrea (Tim), and Heidi (Rick) along with several grandchildren, great and great, great-grandchildren. She will be missed dearly. She always enjoyed helping others so we are blessed that she was able to make one last gift.

Eugene Crandall, Arbie (Sherrie)Crandall, Andrea (Tim Butler)Crandall, Heidi (Rick) Mayer, lots of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Andreas Wetzer and all her family and friends in Germany and those in the USA.
