Thomas Cardamone
Tribute
My brother Thomas was a man of quiet loyalty with a heart of gold. These last 25 years were a rough journey, yet you never once complained. I remember us as young boys going to Shibe Park with Dad. You all were Philly fans, and I was the lone A's Fan. We would go back and forth all the time teasing each other. I remember Dad taking us to French Creek State Park to hike around the lake. He always would find tree branches for us kids and would carve one end to look like a fork, just in case we ran into snakes. Of course, there were all the baseball games we played for St. Henry's Parish, especially those heated matchups against our biggest rival, the infamous Apaches. Who can forget all our Christmas times together, eagerly awaiting to see if we would get what we asked for. Who could ever forget the nick name given to you by your friends that you hung out with as a teenager, T-Bird. What I remember most is you always being there for your siblings and cousins, whether it be weddings or funerals. I thank God for the few precious days we shared this past October, when I came to visit. When we said goodbye, we shared Jesus and then I prayed for you. We hugged each other and I said this potentially could be the last time we see each other. That haunts me in my mind these last few weeks. Tom, I look forward to reuniting once again in Heaven. My brother, from my heart, all my love to you, T-Bird and enjoy your forever time with our Lord. In loviing memory, your brother Frank. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 assures us that those who have died in Christ will be resurrected, offering hope beyond death. Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. This verse speaks to the promise of a future free from pain and suffering.
