Thomas “Tom” Felty, 84, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, in Paoli, Pennsylvania. Born on April 6, 1942, in Roanoke, Virginia, Tom lived a life marked by passion, dedication, and love. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Tom carried his sense of duty into his career as a master carpenter. His exceptional craftsmanship was admired by many as he remodeled homes with precision and care, including those of local sports celebrities. His work left a lasting mark on the community and reflected his unwavering commitment to excellence. Tom’s vibrant personality made him unforgettable to all who knew him. A self-proclaimed audiophile and devoted “parrot head,” he followed Jimmy Buffett from his early days as a local artist. Whether listening to music, solving crossword puzzles, or cheering on his favorite teams—the Phillies, Flyers, Sixers, Eagles, Florida Gators, and formerly the Washington Redskins—Tom embraced his passions with enthusiasm. His love for sports was enduring and infectious. Tom also found joy in serving others through his involvement with Lansdowne Lodge No. 711, Free and Accepted Masons of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, where he was honored to serve as Past Master. He was also a dedicated member of the Marple Newtown Optimist Club, serving as its president before relocating to Florida in 2005. These organizations benefited greatly from his commitment to fellowship and community service. Tom is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 46 years, Donna Finn Felty; his cherished daughter, Alison Price and her husband Jonathan Price; his adored grandson, Wyatt Price; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Opal Page; stepfather, Robert Page; nephew, William “Bill” Finn; and mother-in-law, Georganna Finn. A celebration of life will be held in late summer 2026. Tom’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
