Tony Vasquez was a devoted husband and faithful love of family, children, and pet lover! He had such a caring and giving heart that he always put others' feelings and needs above his. Tony suffered from chronic kidney failure and heart failure, diagnosed many years ago but he was such a great patient that he followed the doctor's advice and continued to surprise them with his endurance. Tony touched many people's lives with his calmness, kindness, sense of humor, and welcoming nature. He was a sheet metal worker by trade and proud to be their union member for over 50 years. In his younger healthier years he loved live music, attending concerts, and dancing, he was a poker room star! He was a professional and enjoyed playing poker at the casino until just months before his passing. Tony wanted to donate his remains to Science Care because he hoped somehow his struggle with health issues could help others somehow, it was not a hasty decision it was a loving, mindful act of love. I know being his wife and beside him for over 20 years that everyone would remember Tony was the nicest guy! A constant, reliable, dependable man of his word and mild-mannered with a sweet kind smile and wonderful hearty laugh! Tony will be deeply missed and for me, after you’ve had the best by your side, there is nowhere to go but receive comfort knowing Tony loved God and earned his wings, and is flying high, finally no daily struggles he is enjoying his fellow heavenly angels 🙏

Friends & Family

Tony’s loving sister that he adored Margie Vasquez King was able to say her last words to him at his bedside before his passing. His brother Ruben Vasquez made a long journey to Tony’s home to show his love. Tony and his siblings had a strong bond that was admirable! In Tony’s lifetime he raised other people's children and grandchildren and the love and care he gave them has touched their life forever!
