Vicki (Moyer) Gehman, 88, passed away peacefully on June 24th, 2025, at Willowbrook Nursing home in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Born to the late Henry Arden and Helen Vivian (Goettler) Moyer, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Married for 62 years, Vicki was the loving wife of Daniel S. Gehman. Vicki's greatest love was spending time with her family. She was particularly close to her sisters, Pamela (Moyer) Valenti and Louella (Moyer) Gehringer. They, along with their cousin Sandra (Fenstermacher) Paetzell, lifelong friend of the family Shirley Moyer, nieces, nephews, and many friends, most enjoyed vacationing at Long Beach Island, NJ every summer. Vicki was a graduate of Souderton High School, class of 1955, and attended many of her class reunions. After graduating, she briefly attended Temple University's nursing program. Early in her life, Vicki worked at her family business, the Souderton Independent newspaper, filling many roles, including editor. As a child, Vicki's son, Chris, had a paper route with the Souderton Independent, which Vicki would often help him with, especially in bad weather. Deli West was another place Vicki worked in Souderton, occasionally providing her son with a sandwich as he was riding his bike around town! Vicki was a den mother with the Cub Scouts, helping the scouts, her son Chris among them, with projects and attaining merit badges. Prior to moving to Quakertown, Vicki was very active at the Souderton pool, providing swimming lessons among many other responsibilities. For many summers, Vicki managed the Parkway Drive-In restaurant in Haycock, PA, where she often brought her daughter, Andrea, with her to help open the restaurant. She would then pay her daughter in quarters so that she could play the video games and juke box in the arcade! Vicki was most recently a member ofthe Lighthouse Baptist church in Kutztown, PA. She worked in early childhood development for many years prior to her retirement
In addition to her husband, Vicki is survived by a son, Christopher A. Gehman (Colleen); granddaughter Anna Gehman; daughter Andrea M. (Gehman) Whitaker (Nathan); brother, Scott Moyer and many nieces and nephews.
