Tribute

Bill was born in Niles, MI. He proudly served the US Marines from 1963-67, serving as a combat photographer based out of Da Nang. He married Mua Van Phan there and they had a son, Thong Van Phan. Losing Mua was the biggest regret of his life. After returning to the States, he married Sharon Friend with whom he had a son Scott and daughter Chrissy. He worked several jobs, most memorably as a tire cord engineer for National Standard. After retiring, he moved to Lake Mary, FL where he married Kelly Kemp. Bill had a huge heart. He especially loved children and all animals. His German Shepherd Queenie was one of the biggest loves of the end of his life. He was a born handyman who could fix anything. His family misses him dearly.
