Tribute

Our mother was a woman whose presence could warm even the coldest day. She didn’t have to raise her voice or demand attention; her strength was quiet, steady, and full of love. You could feel it in the way she cared for others, in the sacrifices she made without ever mentioning them, and in the love she gave so freely to anyone who needed it. She was born with a gentle spirit, but she lived her life with fierce determination. Whether she was working, raising her family, or helping someone in need, she gave her whole heart. To us, her children, she was our teacher, our protector, and our guide. She taught us how to be kind. She taught us how to be resilient. And she taught us how to walk through this world with grace, no matter what came our way. Some of our favorite memories of her are the simple ones how she spread God’s word to each one of her children and grandchildren, her laugh in the kitchen, the way she always knew exactly what to say when one of us was hurting, the stories she shared about her own life, and the quiet moments when being near her made everything feel safe. Those small moments, the ones we didn’t realize were so special at the time, have now become treasures we hold close. What we will remember most is her love, steady, patient, and unconditional. She gave more than she ever asked for, and she touched the lives of everyone who knew her. As her children, we are who we are because of her. Her love shaped us, strengthened us, and guided us into the people we have become. Losing her has created a pain that words can’t fully express. But even in our grief, we are grateful for the years we had, for the memories she made with us, and for the love she poured into our lives. She lives on in the lessons she taught us, in the values she instilled, and especially in the hearts of her grandchildren. They carry her light forward in ways she would be so proud of. So today, we don’t just say goodbye. We say thank you. Thank you, Mom—our grandmother, sister, wife, and dear friend for everything. For every sacrifice. For every lesson. For every moment of love that shaped our lives. We will love you forever. And we will carry you with us, always.
